Always sustainably sourced and fairly traded – most often from local, indigenous family farmers and herders – our ingredients are always wholesome, natural and tested for safety.

Food has the ability to heal or harm. That’s why we at Chews Happiness view food –yes, even pet treats and desserts –as powerful medicine. So instead of adding synthetic vitamins, minerals and chemicals to our treats, we prefer to improve your pet’s well being naturally with our wholesome, pristine ingredients.

We believe that treating your pet doesn’t have to mean offering junk food filled with artificial preservatives, fillers and GMOs. Show them how much you care with delicious delicacies and supplements that offer real, proven health benefits.

We know how important your pet is to you, and we never take their health and safety for granted. All of our healthy handmade special dog treats are thoroughly and comprehensively tested for safety, which includes checking for nasties like toxins, pesticides, PCBs, heavy metals, lactose and dangerous microbes. And you’ll never find ingredients like glycerin or grain that can contribute to allergic reactions or tummy upset.

That means you can relax and truly enjoy indulging your pet in something special.

Each of our Chews Happiness creations are lovingly handcrafted in small batches by our artisans in our Happiness Kitchen in beautiful Bhutan, high in the pristine Himalayas. Our recipes are similar to the ones you might make at home for your pet, using the same types of ingredients you would feed your own family.

And because we aren’t churning out millions of treats a day, we can ensure the highest level of quality while thoroughly testing for safety.

Of course, the most amazing ingredients in the world don’t matter if your dog won’t eat them. All of our delectable recipes– including our Barkarons French dog macarons dog cookies, Mini-Bites, and Bear Hugs – are taste-tested by our volunteer dog Culinary Experts.

The final stamp of approval is given by Bouncer, our demanding CTO (Chew Tasting Officer). We NEVER bring a product to market unless we get the “paws up” for deliciousness.
